It is "ME TIME" not "MUM" time. Even Super Mum needs a break!. You won’t be able to take care of your family if you don’t take care of yourself. In order to understand the importance of me time, we need to discuss the dangers of stress and overworking your mind and body.You could be a stay-at-home mum, a career orientated person or a Uni student, absolutely each of us needs some down time to themselves!
With Motherhood, marriage and family commitments, not to mention school work and everything in between it can be incredibly hectic to make time for yourself. Even if we do get a few moments to yourself, it can be hard to think of what to do to recuperate and relax.
Here are a few ideas on how you can spend your specially well deserved ‘me’ time!

Concentrate on your health & well-being
I think it is very important to invest in yourself. Whether it is an hour at the gym, doing a Yoga class or taking the dog for a walk, or meditating. Anything that contributes positively to your health is definitely worth it. At the end of the busy day I often light my scented candle with a relaxing scent like sandalwood jasmine or lemongrass. This relaxes me before my bedtime.
P.S - I absolutely love scented candles...LOL
